I can't believe that today is my last day in Blayney and tomorrow I'm gonna go to Sydney for a few days and on Wednesday I'm on the plane on my way to Finland. Time flies hey... At the moment I'm home finishing my packing. We've also got open house so people can come and enjoy homemade pizza and say goodbyes to me. In the evening we are having a little farewell party with my friends, yay! I'm not sure what's going on in my head atm. I just don't feel like I'm going back to Finland in a few days and this awesome year is almost over. I guess it is gonna hit me at the airport when I have to say final goodbyes. It is gonna be so sad and awful to say goodbye to Mikaela. She is really important person to me and I really hope we are gonna be maybe housemates or at least we live in a same country one day. I know, I'm going to see my beautiful girl soon, but I don't know what I'm gonna do when she is not next to me. The connection we have is just amazing and I think we are more like soul mates than friends. God I'm going to miss my love sooooo much. I'm not looking forward to say goodbyes to my friends here in Blayney either. It is gonna be so hard, because I love these people and I'm gonna miss every one of them ♥ This year has been amazing and absolutely one of the best years in my life. I've met lovely people who I won't never forget. I've experienced a lot and I've seen really beautiful places. I've grown heaps during this year and my whole way of thinking has changed and also my plans for the future has changed. I know Australia is going to be a big part of my life sooner or later. But then again, after this incredible year, it is nice to see my family and friends :)
First I wanna say, that I've never seen as clear and blue water and as white sand as I saw at Whitehaven Beach. We woke up in the morning and after breakfast we went Ocean Rafting. At the first stop, we had time to go snorkeling. The water was warm and clear and the reef was absolutely beautiful! Only bad thing was jellyfish because they were everywhere and burned your skin a bit. On the second stop we stopped on Whitehaven Beach. The sand was so fine that we had to be careful with cameras and phones, so I didn't end up using my camera much. We went to a lookout where the view over the beach was incredible. On the third and last stop we enjoyed lunch on the beach and we had also time to go for a swim. That whole area was one of the most beautiful places where I've ever been. Take me back, will you? In the evening we had 'Safari's Got Talent' competition and all the groups made awesome shows and everyone got a good laugh!
Ekana päivänä me käytiin tsekkaamassa upeita vesiputouksia, joissa me saatiin polskia. Käytiin me myös pulahtamassa yhessä järvessä, jossa tuli bongattua pari kilpikonnaakin. Lounasta me nautittiin tollasessa hippilässä jossa työskenteli ihania ihmisiä. Kaikinpuolin siis tosi ihana päivä! Seuraavana päivänä me mentiin päiväks Great Barrier Reefille, jossa me päästiin snorklaamaan ja laitesukeltamaan. Vesi oli ihanan lämmintä ja puhdasta ja se tunne oli jotain niin ihanaa siellä meren alla, kymmenen metrin syvyydessä korallien keskellä. Kuvia siitä tulee seuraavassa postauksessa :)
We spent three nights in Cairns, lets just say the Motel was 100x better than the tents, it was lovely to have a bed and beautiful swimming pool. The rooms were for four and we had beds with blankets and pillows and on top of that, we had own balcony. Luxury, ha? On the first day in Cairns we went to see two beautiful waterfalls, where we had opportunity to swim. It was awesome to swim in clean rainwater in the middle of the rain forest. I love being in tropical places and near the beach, so it was pretty good to come to Cairns from Central Australia. Besides, I enjoy not having to wear shoes, heh. The waterfall, Josephine Falls, in the last photo was incredible and there was a spot where you could slide down to the water along the rock. The waterfall, Millaa Millaa falls, in the upper photo was also amazing, because it was huge and we could go behind it. We also had a little dip in a lake, where we saw a few turtles. Next day we spent at the Great Barrier Reef where we had an opportunity to go snorkeling and scuba diving. The water was really warm and clear and the feeling under the water was amazing. I'm gonna post photos of that in the next post :)
